The European Citizen Science Association (ECSA) conference took place from 5 to 8 October in Berlin. This time the focus was on Planetary Health, a topic particularly suited for the ECSA working group on Air Quality. Measure Together, RIVM (Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu)’s citizen science infrastructure (knowledge and data portal) is an active member of this working group and helped to organise an interactive session at the conference.
The ECSA conference offered an excellent opportunity to discuss citizen science with colleagues from all over the world and to inspire and be inspired. RIVM (Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu)’s Measure Together was well represented, but also other colleagues of RIVM were there. Apart from the interactive session, the working group also organised a working group meeting. Overall, it was a very inspiring conference, with many international networks being built and fortified.
